Jesus, aka the “Lamb of God”, has inspired Christians to make baby sheep the Thanksgiving Turkey’s of Easter. Their overwhelming favorite way to eat an animal metaphorically representing their Lord and Savior – is with barbecue sauce. Industrially slaughtered baby sheep are slathered with barbecue sauce to remember Jesus’s sacrifice with mashed potatoes on the side. As a reflection of his sacrifice so their sins may be forgiven, lambs bleed to death from having their throats slit prior to symbolic consumption and potato pairing.
John 1:29 NIV Behold the lamb of God, which taketh away sin from the world. Eat him with Heinz.
